Plumber in Whaley Bridge

The canal village at the end of the Peak Forest Canal, further up the A6.

Houses in Whaley Bridge

Whaley Bridge is further up the A6, through Disley and Furness Vale. It's SK23. The centre of the village is the canal basin at the end of the Peak Forest Canal, with the old stone warehouse beside it. Stone cottages and terraces run up from the basin, and the houses thin out towards Taxal, Fernilee and the Goyt Valley.

Same heat pump question as New Mills, different houses. Thick stone walls, radiators that were sized for a hotter system, and a cylinder that may be in a low cupboard. I check those, and where an outdoor unit can sit, before I fit anything.

Off the main road, plenty of properties are not on the gas. An air source heat pump can suit a house like that, as long as there's a solid base outside and the wet system can keep the rooms warm. I'm BPEC Level 3 heat pump qualified. I don't do the oil boiler, the gas boiler, or the refrigerant side.

If you're in Chapel-en-le-Frith, that's the same run up the A6. Ring me with the postcode.
